Eyad Shehadeh, D.D.S.
Dr. Shehadeh graduated from the college of Dentistry in 1999 with a D.D.S degree. After being in private practice, he completed two years of post-graduate residency training at Nova Southeastern University in 2004. Dr. Shehadeh then completed a fellowship in the treatment of patients with disabilities at the University of Washington, Seattle in 2006. He is licensed to practice dentistry in the states of Florida, Minnesota and Washington. Besides private practice, he currently serves as the program director for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at Nova Southeastern University. He is a member of the:

Dr. Maria del Pilar Avellaneda, DMD
Dr. Avellaneda graduated from Bosque University in Bogota, Colombia in 1991 and later returned to the Pediatric Dental Program at Bosque University receiving that degree in 1997. Dr. Avellaneda opened her private practice in Bogota in 1992 and worked there until she arrived in the United States in 2000.
Dr. Avellaneda completed her Degree in Dental Medicine at NSU, College of Dental Medicine. She completed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). Since her graduation, she was involved in teaching and training residents and students at both Nova Southeastern University and University of Florida College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Avellaneda spent most of her career focused on providing pediatric dental care and particularly enjoys working on children aged 0 to 8 years old.
Dr. Avellaneda believes the learning is a never ending process. In this pursuit, she has certified herself in Invisalign technology and is also a member of several prestigious associations including the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Peguero was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where he attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School. After graduating third in his class from Belen in 2001, he received the prestigious Chancellor's Scholarship to attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Neuroscience and Spanish Literature. Dr. Peguero then proceeded to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Upon completion of dental school, he remained in Boston, Massachusetts, and began his specialty training in the Department of Endodontics at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Endodontics in June 2011.
In July 2011, Dr. Peguero returned to Miami to embark on his professional career. He is delighted and blessed to be reunited with his family and friends, once again in the warm and sunny confines of South Florida. In his new home, Dr. Peguero remains active in local and national dental organizations, serving as a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the South Florida District Dental Association. He is also actively pursuing board certification in endodontics, having successfully attained the status of Board Eligible Endodontist, American Board of Endodontics, in July.
Dr. Peguero donates time to community service as well, participating annually in the Give Kids A Smile campaign, which provides free dental care and education to under-served children. During his time in Boston, he also volunteered often at the Bridge over Troubled Waters, a medical/dental facility for homeless youth. Dr. Peguero looks forward to continuing to serve those in need in the South Florida area.
Dr. Robert Weishoff
Dr. Robert Weishoff completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he was awarded the George Bronkovic Award for Service and Dedication.
After dental school he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) at Nova Southeastern University, before going on to receive his specialty certificate in Periodontics and a Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Maryland Dental School. Dr. Weishoff is Board Certified and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology. His caring approach and concern for others ensures a positive experience for our patients.
